Please make your fireplace or stove selection carefully, as the "big ticket items" like gas, wood, pellet and electrical stoves, fireplaces and fireplace inserts - once shipped - cannot be returned for a refund! If the "big ticket" order is refused by the customer a 20% re-stocking fee will be assessed, no exceptions!

Local Codes:

Before making a purchase, you should check all local codes to make sure your purchase will meet with local standards and can be installed. We are not responsible for knowing the specifics of your local codes and we will not be responsible for returns based on these issues.


Fireplace Installation:

All fireplace equipment purchased from our on-line store (i.e. wood stove or fireplace, wood insert, pellet stove, pellet insert, gas stove of fireplace or gas insert) should be installed by a licensed, experienced professional installer only. Customer is responsible for the securing services of a professional installer. Stoves-Pipes.com doesn't offer any installation services, nor it will pay for any installation costs!

Fireplace Framing Directions:
Line dimensions are to be used as a guide only. Please consult the installation manual for updated and precise measurements before proceeding to install or frame your Fireplace.

Order Confirmation:

In order to send you and email confirmation that your order has been processed; you must supply your email address when placing your order. We do not sell or share email addresses. After placing your order we will send a confirmation receipt via email. It is your responsibility to check the email confirmation to ensure invoice accuracy. By purchasing a product from us, you have agreed to our policies, procedures and terms.

Lead Time:

Generally, you will receive your merchandise sooner then the quoted lead-time. However, plan ahead for your installations. Some items (especially in peak season) may take longer to ship. Lead-time is dependent on the item not being back ordered by the manufacturer. If a back order does happen, you will be notified by email.

Payment Method:

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express Credit cards and debit cards as well as PayPal & Google Checkout. All prices are in US dollars. Once you place your order your credit card is charged for the purchase.




Shipping

Most shipping is via Federal Express or freight carrier. It is the customer's responsibility to unload product from the truck unless the customer has ordered a lift gate service. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure someone is there to sign for all shipments. If products are not accepted in a timely manner, storage fees will be charged to the customer. Most shipments are delivered via a large truck. If the freight company cannot access your driveway or home it is the customer's responsibility to arrange some other way to receive shipment with the freight company.

Product Inspection

Inspect all containers and product while in the presence of the driver. Note any bent or damaged cartons on the Bill of lading and have the driver sign both copies. Remove and carefully inspect all products in the presence of the driver. Carefully count all items and make sure everything you have ordered is accounted for. Note any missing items on the bill of lading and have driver sign both copies. If an item is damaged note it on the bill of lading and refuse only the item that is damaged and contact us immediately. If you weren't present during the delivery, you have 24 hours in which to notify us of any missing parts or hidden damage. If you do not notify us within a 24 hour time frame, any future claim for said parts will be null and void as our abilities to seek assistance from the freight carrier will have since expired. Once the product is signed for, all missing or damaged items are the customer's responsibility. If a damaged item has been accepted, always keep the original carton and packaging materials. Damage claims cannot be honored with out them.

*Some items stoves-pipes.com sells are not available in our web catalog but can be purchased over the phone. If you purchase a special order item by contacting or calling our toll-free number it may not be returnable or may be subject to a higher restocking fee. When you call, a sales associate will notify you of any applicable return charges. If defective, you may only exchange these items for the same product. Please call our customer service number if you are uncertain about any part of this return policy or if you have unanswered questions.


Order Change / Cancellation Policy/Returns:

Once you submit your order, processing begins immediately. Changing or canceling your order may not be possible without a charge. If your order is canceled, a 20% re-stocking fee charge will apply to the order. The customer must receive a "Return Authorization Number" by us to ship anything back. All shipments will be refused without this number. All returned merchandise must be undamaged, unused and in its original packaging. If returns are damaged in transit back to us, it will be refused and returned to the original shipper to file a claim for damage. No COD's will be accepted on returned items. Refusal of undamaged shipments will be considered a return, and return policies will apply.

***Important!: "Big Ticket" Fireplace Equipment Order Change / Cancellation / Return Policy:
To sustain our very low prices, the following Fireplace Return Policy applies to all fireplace orders:
The following "big ticket item" fireplace orders cannot be cancelled or returned for a refund if those orders have been already shipped:
1. Gas, Wood, Pellet or Electric Zero Clearance Fireplaces

2. Gas, Wood, Pellet or Electric Fireplace Inserts
3. Gas, Wood, Pellet or Electric Free Standing Stoves

Please make your fireplace or stove selection carefully, as the "big ticket items" like gas, wood, pellet and electrical stoves, fireplaces and fireplace inserts - once shipped - cannot be returned for a refund! If the "big ticket" order is refused by the customer a 20% re-stocking fee will be assessed, no exceptions!

The following non "big ticket items" (see the explanation above) may be returned for a refund:

1. Merchandise that has not been removed from its original packing.

2. Wrong part or equipment sent in error by us.

General Rule: A 20% restocking fee will be charged on all returned merchandise, unless a wrong part was shipped by error to the Customer.

RMA Rules:

1. Requests for the eligible returns can only be made within 3 days after receiving your product(s) and returns have to be shipped no later than 30 days after receiving your product(s); restocking fees will apply.

2. Merchandise must have not been damaged in return freight transit. (if the merchandise arrives damaged, the shipment will be refused and returned to the customer).


General

Once your credit card charges are processed by the merchant service, and your order was shipped, your order cannot be canceled without a 20% re-stocking fee. ***Exception: the "big ticket items", as defined above, cannot be cancelled once shipped!

We can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from stoves-pipes.com or one of its affiliates. To receive a refund, all returned merchandise must be in resalable condition, free from scratches and defects.

You can also cancel items that have not been processed yet. To cancel an order that has not yet been processed, please call our customer service department immediately within 8 hours of placing your order. Once an order is processed it cannot be canceled without a 20% re-stocking fee.

Return Procedure

Follow the simple directions below to make your return:

1. Contact our returns department (1-888-850-9663) by telephone or web interface to process your return and receive an RMA (return goods authorization) number.

2. Once you have set up your return by phone you will be e-mailed an RMA number within 2 business days. Along with this return number you will receive a ship-to address where you must send your merchandise. Be sure to include your RMA number with your merchandise. This number will be used to guarantee you receive your credit. Note: If you return a product to us without an RMA number, your return could be subject to additional restocking fees.

3. Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories with the product to avoid any additional fees.

4. We recommend items be returned via UPS or insured parcel post for proof of delivery. Please be certain that items are secure in their packaging so damage does not occur while they are in transit back to our warehouse.

You are responsible for all freight charges. Items received past the return period plus reasonable shipping time may not be processed. Only items purchased from stoves-pipes.com are eligible for return credit. Returned items must be shipped in the original product packaging. Notification will be sent to the e-mail and/or billing address provided should your return not be accepted. Items will be resent to you upon receipt of your payment of freight charges. Items will be deemed abandoned if we are not contacted within 30 days.

Refunds

We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Please note: we will refund shipping costs only if you received an item that you did not order, no exceptions!

We will do our best to process the return quickly. Please allow 2 - 7 days for processing. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account number only. If you paid by check please allow an additional 7 days for delivery of check via USPS.

Replacement / Warranty Parts

Warranty parts and replacement parts due to defects or concealed damage may require shipping and handling charges.

Restricted Shipments:

There are some areas we are restricted to ship. If you are in one of these areas, you will be notified and refunded immediately.

Liabilities:

We make no warranty to the claims the manufacturers make regarding their products. It is up to the customer to verify claims with the manufacturer. Because we did not manufacture any of the products we sell, we assume no responsibility for any amount over the purchase price of these products.

Product Descriptions:

While we are proactive about maintaining an error free website errors do happen. We are not responsible for errors on our website! To verify any product's description, as well as any recent product's changes, please check with the manufacturer web sites and the current manuals if available at these web sites! Colors can vary depending on your screen resolution and monitor settings. Sales tax will be charged for all orders shipped in the State of Washington. Item availability and prices are subject to change without notice. Manufacturer specifications are subject to change without notice.

Pricing
